CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa-- Freshman Jayme Willemssen (Waverly) had a career-high 12 kills in Wartburg's 3-0 sweep over Coe Wednesday night. The Knights moved their winning streak to four and are now 11-8 overall and 4-1 in American Rivers Conference matches.

Senior Lizzy Blough (Dike) led all hitters with 16 kills to join Willemssen in double digits. Classmate Mallary Erbes (Urbandale) had 31 assists and 14 digs. Sophomore Katie Foster (Charles City) tallied 15 digs and classmate Sydney Rottinghaus (Mason City) joined her in double figures with 14.
The Orange and Black held the team advantages in hitting percentage, kills, service aces, and blocks.
Defensively, Wartburg held the Kohawk's leading hitter, Lindsey Koch, to only three kills and a negative hitting percentage.
The Knights return home for a four-game homestand as they host Loras Friday at 7:30 p.m.
