WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (12-8 overall, 5-1 American Rivers) snapped Loras' four-match winning streak in the 3-0 sweep Friday night. The Knights won the first set 25-19 and rallied to win the set 25-22, after they trailed 14-6 at one point. The Orange and Black took control in the third set to claim the match.

A different story played out in the second frame, as the Duhawks jumped to a 9-3 lead. The Knights compiled a six-point run to make it 14-12 in favor of the visitors, before Loras used a 6-1 run to make it 20-13. After the score was 22-16, the Orange and Black rallied with a nine-point run to win that set.

In the final set, Wartburg was ahead 5-2 early on and never relinquished the lead.
