WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (17-11 overall) hosts Luther (15-16) in an American Rivers Conference Tournament Semifinal Thursday at 7 p.m. The Knights are the No. 1 seed and the Norse are the No. 4 seed.
The Orange and Black are 26-9 all-time in the conference tournament, and have qualified for this competition every year.

Wartburg leads the series at 42-30, which includes the regular season meeting on Sept. 12.

Bildstein (Dyersville) follows with 230, freshman Jayme
Willemssen (Waverly) has 218 and sophomore Lexi Groe (Lake Mills) has 103.
Bildstein leads the Knights with a team-best .285 hitting percentage and 87 blocks.
Senior Mallary Erbes (Urbandale) paces the team with 861 assists and a team leading 51 service aces.
Sophomore Katie Foster (Charles City) leads the Knights with 401 digs on the season.

Luther
The Norse swept Loras Tuesday to advance to the semifinal. This was the first conference tournament win for the program since 2013.
Karissa Kime leads the team with 334 kills. Emma Veum follows with 311, Anna Larson at 285, and Katie Shabatura at 164. Sam Sixta leads the team at the service line with 41 aces.
