DECORAH, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's tennis team continued to extend its record setting best start to the season with the 5-4 win over Luther Saturday. The Knights moved to 10-0 overall and 7-0 in America Rivers Conference play. This was the first win in program history over the Norse, and locked up at least a share of the A-R-C title. The Orange and Black do not have a conference title in their history.
The previous closest Wartburg was to defeating Luther occurred at last spring's conference automatic qualifier, where the Norse won 5-4.
The win was solidified with Hannah Fox's victory at No. 2 singles.
