Volleyball Travels To Face Coe

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (10-8 overall, 3-1 American Rivers) travels to face Coe College (15-5, 3-1) Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Both teams look to add to their current three game winning streak.

The Series

Wartburg leads the all-time series at 37-13-1, and the Knights have won the last five straight. This will be the first meeting between the two teams in the 2018 season.

Senior Lizzy Blough (Dike) leads the team with 211 kills and 4.06 kills/set. Freshman Jayme Willemssen (Waverly) follows with 162 kills and Sophomore Kylie Bildstein (Dyersville) also has triple digit kills with 141. Bildstein leads the Knights with a team-best .266 hitting percentage.

Senior Mallary Erbes paces the team with 575 assists and a team leading 35 service aces.

Katie Foster leads the Knights with 243 digs on the season. Bildstein has a team-best 55 total blocks. 

Career Record Watch
Mallary Erbes ranks seventh in assists (1,769). Erbes needs 69 more assists to move into sixth. 

Coe
Lindsey Koch has a team-best 224 kills and 3.07 kills/set for Coe. Followed closely is Adysen Wintermote with 220 kills. Morgan Kluesner and Darby Hawtrey also have triple digit kills with 174 and 123. Elli Teeple leads the team with 651 assists on the season and is tied with Kluesnerfor a team-best 22 service aces.
