WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (18-11 overall) hosts Dubuque (23-8) in the American Rivers Conference Tournament Championship Saturday 7 p.m. The Knights are the No. 1 seed and the Spartans are the No. 2 seed.

The Orange and Black are 27-9 all-time in the conference tournament, and have qualified for this competition every year.

The Series
Wartburg leads the series at 44-36, but Dubuque claimed the regular season meeting this year 3-1 on Sept. 19. The programs have never met in the conference championship match.

Senior Lizzy Blough (Dike) leads the team with 346 kills and 3.84 kills/set. Sophomore Kylie Bildstein (Dyersville) follows with 241, freshman Jayme Willemssen (Waverly) has 230 and sophomore Lexi Groe (Lake Mills) has 115. Bildstein leads the Knights with a team-best .282 hitting percentage and 98 blocks.

Senior Mallary Erbes (Urbandale) paces the team with 913 assists and a team leading 51 service aces.

Sophomore Katie Foster (Charles City) leads the Knights with 441 digs on the season.

Dubuque
Kara Wright leads her team with 399 kills. Four teammates join her in triple digits as Rylee Andresen has 230, Sarrah Farraday has 176, Kendra White has 135 and Paige Harbort has 115.
