WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team fell 3-1 to Dubuque in the American Rivers Conference Tournament Championship match Saturday.
The Knights end the season with an overall record of 18-12 and the Spartans moved to 24-8.

The teams traded set victories for the first three frames. Dubuque won the first 27-25 and the third 25-21. The Orange and Black claimed the second, 25-23.
Senior Lizzy Blough (Dike) led the team with 17 kills. She was joined in double digits by freshman Jayme Willemssen (Waverly) and sophomore Kylie Bildstein (Dyersville) with 12 and 10, respectively.
Senior Mallary Erbes (Urbandale) had 46 assists running the offense and added 15 digs.
Sophomore Katie Foster (Charles City) had 21 digs and Blough added 11. Sophomore Sydney Rottinghaus (Mason City) had 10 digs.
As a team, Wartburg held the advantages in blocks (10-9).
