WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg softball team (12-12 overall, 2-6 IIAC) travels to face No. 23 Central (19-7, 6-2) Saturday at 1 p.m. and will host Dubuque (5-21, 1-3) Sunday at 1 p.m. The Dutch are third, the Knights are tied for seventh and the Spartans are ninth on the conference standings.

The Series
Central holds the all-time series lead at 54-26, and took both games in last year's series. The Knights lead 58-17 over the Spartans and have won the last four-straight.
Wartburg
Senior Mara Forsyth (Charles City) leads the team with her .420 average, five doubles, five home runs, and 18 RBIs. Junior Kailee O'Brien (Altoona), senior Erica Countryman (Plainfield, Ill.), and junior Liz Roby-Miklus (Ankeny) are all above .300 at .354, .342, and .316, respectively.
Roby-Miklus has a team-high 16 stolen bases.
Freshman Maddie Rog (Norridge, Ill.) leads the starting pitchers with a 3-4 record, 22 Ks in 61.0 innings pitched.
