Luther owns the slight edge in the series at 42-39. BV holds the lead at 45-34, but the Knights won two of the three meetings last season.
Wartburg
Senior Mara Forsyth (Charles City) leads the team with her .420 average, seven doubles, eight home runs, and 25 RBIs. Junior Kailee O'Brien (Altoona), senior Erica Countryman (Plainfield, Ill.), and junior Liz Roby-Miklus (Ankeny) are all above .300 at .380, .326, and .315, respectively.
Roby-Miklus has a team-high 18 stolen bases.
Freshmen Camille Colen (West Sacramento, Calif.) and Lauren Reicks (Cresco) lead the pitchers with five wins each. Classmate Maddie Rog (Norridge, Ill.) has a team-best 22 strikeouts.

Luther
Anna Strien is the team's leading hitter at .516, with three triples and 34 RBIs. Ashley Burrows follows at .438, and Natalie Stockman at .402. Stockman matches Strien's RBI total. Samantha Bratland leads the pitchers with her 1.77 ERA, is 16-2 with 120 strikeouts in 111.0 innings of work.
Buena Vista
BV hosts Dubuque Wednesday.
