Wartburg Travels to Face Dubuque

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (5-5 overall, 1-0 American Rivers) continues its road swing at Dubuque (7-4, 1-0) Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

The Series
Wartburg owns the series lead at 44-35, which includes the last 14-straight.

Senior Lizzy Blough (Dike) leads the team with 105 kills and 4.04 kills/set. Freshman Jayme Willemssen (Waverly) follows with 97 kills. Sophomore Kylie Bildstein (Dyersville) adds a team-best .290 hitting percentage. Senior Mallary Erbes (Urbandale) has 308 assists and leads the team with 16 service aces.

Sophomore Katie Foster (Charles City) leads the defense with 142 digs and is second on the team with 12 aces.

Career Record Watch
Erbes ranks ninth in assists (1,502). She needs 104 to move into eighth.

Dubuque
Kara Wright paces her team with 142 kills, 4.30 kills/set. Kate Messino has a team-high 16 service aces. The Spartans swept Coe last week to open conference play.

National Stat Ranking Categories
Wartburg ranks in the top 100 of three statistical categories, which the NCAA released Monday.
 
The Knights rank 74th in team attacks per set (36.31), 84th in digs per set (17.34), and 88th in blocks per set (1.76).
 
Individually, three Knights rank in the top 100 of five statistical categories: Blough ranks 2nd in attacks per set (13.19), 23rd in kills per set (4.04), and 27th in points per set (4.44); Erbes ranks 85th in assists per set (8.8); and Foster ranks 28th in digs per set (5.46).
