WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (5-6 overall) travels to Mount Vernon, Iowa this weekend for the Cornell Invite. The Knights will face host-Cornell (4-4) Friday at 6 p.m., Grinnell (9-5) at 8 p.m. and UW-River Falls (7-7) Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Series
Wartburg owns the series lead over Cornell at 30-15-1 and over Grinnell at 17-1. UW-River Falls leads 6-5, but the programs have not met since 2015.
Wartburg
Senior Lizzy Blough (Dike) leads the team with 125 kills and 4.17 kills/set. Freshman Jayme Willemssen (Waverly) follows with 103 kills. Sophomore Kylie Bildstein (Dyersville) adds a team-best .272 hitting percentage. Senior Mallary Erbes (Urbandale) has 352 assists and leads the team with 16 service aces.
Sophomore Katie Foster (Charles City) leads the defense with 172 digs and is second on the team with 12 aces.

Erbes ranks ninth in assists (1,546). She needs 60 to move into eighth.
Cornell
Nicole Ciari leads her team with 134 kills and 4.19 kills/set. Katie Wycoff leads the team from the service line with 13 aces.
Grinnell
Kaylin Kuhn paces her squad with 247 kills, 4.94 kills/set, and 32 service aces. Two teammates join her in triple digits with 112 and 111 kills, respectively.
UW-River Falls
Dakotah Poitra has a team-high 169 kills and Hannah Striggow follows with 144 kills. Mallory Griffin has a team-best 27 service aces.
