WAVERLY, Iowa—The Wartburg volleyball team (3-1 overall) returns to the Twin Cities to compete in Augsburg's Invitational. The Knights will face St. Thomas (3-1) Friday at 8 p.m., host-Augsburg (4-0) Saturday at 10 a.m. and UW-Eau Claire (4-0) at noon.

The Series
The Tommies hold the all-time series lead at 16-5, but the Knights were victorious (3-2) in last year's meeting in the NCAA Tournament. The Orange and Black hold the narrow lead at 7-6 against the Auggies, which includes last year's 3-2 win at this tournament. The Blugolds lead 5-2-1, but the programs have not me since 2012.
Wartburg
Senior Lizzy Blough (Dike) leads the Knights with 62 kills and 4.43 kills/set. Freshman Jayme Willemssen (Waverly) follows with 40 kills and a team-best .373 hitting percentage. Senior Mallary Erbes (Urbandale) has 127 assists and team-high 10 service aces. Sophomore Katie Foster (Charles City) leads the defense with 85 digs.
St. Thomas
Madie Kroehler leads the team with 36 kills and 2.77 kills/set. Ellie Meyer leads the team with 15 service aces.
UW-Eau Claire
Madelyn Pashibin leads the team with 50 kills, 4.17 kills/set, and a .396 hitting percentage. Taylor Scalia has a team-high nine service aces.
Augsburg
Three players lead the team with 33 kills: Megan Quam, Kayla Gjerde, Sydnie Zachary. Lexie Lang has a team-best seven service aces.
