WAVERLY, Iowa - The Wartburg men's soccer team shutout Coe at home Wednesday night with a 5-0 victory.
Starting off at the 8-minute mark,
Max Siade-Cox scored his third goal of the season off an assist by
Brady Arens after a corner kick by
Nick Schwake.
Anzuruni Kimba scored his second goal of the season off an assist by
Kevin Duque, ending the half with a 2-0 lead.
Nathan Feiner opened the second half with his first goal of the season at the 54-minute mark off an assist from Siade-Cox.Â
Several minutes later,
Devin Eby scored his fourth goal of the season, and the fourth goal of the game.
Ending the match,
Brady Arens scored his first goal of the season at the 85-minute mark off an assist by
Ben Frazee.
Wartburg outshot Coe 25-1 and had an 8-3 corner kick advantage.
Next up, the Knights head to Whitewater, Wis. on Friday, Oct. 25 to play UW-Whitewater before heading to Luther on Tuesday, Oct. 29.Â
