Wartburg is riding a season-high six-match winning streak, coming off a sweep at Bethel University last Tuesday, Oct. 22 in Arden Hills, Minn.
CONFERENCE REGULAR SEASON TITLE
The Knights downed Loras in five sets Oct. 19 to clinch at least a share of the program's fifth consecutive conference regular season title. With a win over Buena Vista Tuesday evening, Wartburg secures the regular season crown outright and the No. 1 seed for the A-R-C Tournament.
WARTBURG
- The Knights lead the nation with 246.5 total blocks, led by a total of 96 from Kylie Bildstein - 1st in A-R-C (13th/NCAA).
- Wartburg ranks second in A-R-C hitting percentage (.199) and opponent hitting percentage (.133).
- Katie Foster ranks second in the NCAA and first in the conference with 635 digs, averaging 6.05 per set (12th/NCAA)
BUENA VISTA
- The Beavers are looking to snap a two-match losing skid, coming off a pair of 3-1 losses against Luther and Coe.
- BVU has earned three A-R-C wins, defeating Central, Simpson, and Dubuque.
- Sydney McClaren leads the Buena Vista offense with 304 kills and ranks second in the conference with 3.30 kills per set.
