WAVERLY, Iowa - The Wartburg men's soccer team defeated Buena Vista 4-0 at home on Saturday afternoon.
Kicking off the Knights victory in the first half was
Anzuruni Kimba, who scored the first goal of the game and his first goal of the season.
At the 43-minute mark,
Alex Keninger scored a goal with an assist by
Anzuruni Kimba, his first goal of the season.
Responding at the 51-minute,
Kevin Duque scored his fourth goal of the season, advancing the Knights 3-0.
Devin Eby scored the winning goal, his third of the season, giving the Knights a 4-0 win.Â
Wartburg outshot Buena Vista 8-1 and had a 14-3 corner kick advantage.
The Knighs will host Dubuque at home on Wednesday, Oct. 5.Â
