PELLA/INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Wartburg women's tennis team earned a pair of American Rivers Conference road victories at Central and Simpson Saturday, Oct. 6. 

The Knights defeated Central 6-3 and Simpson 7-2 to improve to 8-6 overall and 6-2 during conference action. 

Wartburg won two of three doubles matches on both contests, with the Knights' No. 3 pair of Olivia Phillips and Sydney Powers going 2-0. 

The Orange and Black captured four of six singles points at Central and five of six at Simpson. Madison Overmann, Lauren O'Brian, Olivia Phillips, and Gabby Olejniczak each won both of their respective singles matches.
