WAVERLY - The Wartburg women's soccer team had a 4-0 victory over Concordia Wisconsin in the NCAA first round to advance onto the second round.
Starting off the match,
Sarah Campbell scored the first goal, her third of the season, off a corner kick.
The Knights responded with back-to-back goals at the 20 and 21-minute mark.
Kate Luers scored off assists by
Joy Smith and
Katie Berglund, her 14th goal this season.
Joy Smith followed less than 60-seconds later with her 11th goal of the season.
Gabby Rohrer scored her fourth goal of the season and gave Wartburg a 4-0 victory over Concordia Wisconsin.
The Knights outshot the Falcons 11-8 and had a 6-1 corer kick advantage.
Next up, Wartburg will face No. 8-ranked Pomona-Pitzer at the Wartburg Soccer Field on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 4 pm.
