WAVERLY, Iowa - The No. 2 seed Wartburg women's soccer team will host No. 3 seed Dubuque on Wednesday at the Wartburg Soccer Field for the American Rivers Conference Semifinals.

A-R-C Tournament Notes

• Last season the Knights faced Luther in the A-R-C Semifinals and advanced onto the championship game after a 2-0 victory
• Loras hosted Wartburg for the 2018 A-R-C Championships, the Knights first appearance since 2016, but fell 3-2 to the Duhawks
• Wartburg faced Coe in the 2017 first round where the game ended in a 0-0 double overtime tie with the Knights advancing on 2-1 PKs
• Loras hosted the Orange and Black for the semifinals and had a 3-1 win over Wartburg
• Wartburg hosted Coe in the 2016 first round and advanced in 4-3 PKs after a 0-0 tie

• Sophomore Kate Luers has scored 13 goals for the Knights
• Sophomore Sarah Campbell has contributed eight assists

Dubuque

• The Spartans have scored 33 goals this season
• Freshman Brooke Brodzinski has tallied six goals
• Senior Alexa Martin has notched 12 assists
• Junior goalkeeper Tori Roethler has made 62 saves in goal

Last Time Out

The Knights faced the Luther Norse on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at the Luther Soccer Field. Eight minutes into the game, Kate Luers scored the only goal of the game, her 13th of the season, off an assist from Sarah Campbell to give the Orange and Black a 1-0 victory. Wartburg outshot Luther 17-8 with eight shots on goal and had a 5-2 corner kick advantage.
