WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Wartburg College Knights (2-6 overall) wrapped up their spring trip to Florida on a sour note, falling 11-4 to the Cornell College Rams (2-1) on Sunday morning.
Offensively, freshman infielder
Jarod Harris (Manchester) led the team by going 2-3 at the plate, recording a RBI, walk and run scored on the day. Junior third baseman
Tyler Hovick (Roland) went 2-4 on the day with a RBI and run scored.
The Knights got the game started at the top of the first on a fielder's choice single by junior

The Orange and Black regained their lead at the top of the second, as sophomore

Wartburg's 3-2 lead disappeared as the Rams went on to score three runs in the third, two runs in the fourth, two runs in the fifth, one in the sixth and one last run in the seventh to regain the lead at 11-3 heading into the top of the eighth.
The Knights score their last run of the day at the top of the eighth when Hovick single to center field, bringing home junior outfielder
