Softball Travels to WashU Tournament

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg softball team (10-2 overall) travels to St. Louis to compete in WashU's Tournament. The Knights will face DePauw (2-2) and host-Washington University in St. Louis (4-2).

Saturday, March 16

The Series
WashU owns the series lead at 9-4 and the series is split 1-1 against DePauw, as the programs met for the first time two years ago.

Wartburg
Senior Liz Roby-Miklus (Ankeny) leads the team with her .500 average and 21 stolen bases. Classmate Kailee O'Brien (Altoona) follows with her .488 average and team-best 20 hits.

Freshman Jenna Levine (DeKalb, Ill.) has a team-best 15 RBIs. Senior Brenna Gray (Waterloo) leads the starting pitchers with five wins and 2.62 ERA. Sophomore Maddie Rog (Norridge, Ill.) has a team-best 18 strikeouts.

Career Record Watch
Roby-Miklus continues to extend her lead as the program leader in stolen bases and has 84 to date. O'Brien ranks third with 50 and is ninth in hits with 144.

Reicks has seven saves which ranks third.
