WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg softball team (15-5 overall) travels to face Buena Vista (14-6) Sunday at 1 p.m. to open the conference portion of its schedule. This doubleheader was moved from Saturday due to projected weather. The Knights enter the weekend on a five-game winning streak and BV has won its last two-straight.

Buena Vista holds the all-time series lead at 46-35, though the teams have split the twinbills the last two seasons.

Senior Liz Roby-Miklus (Ankeny) leads the team with her .524 average and 34 stolen bases. She enters the weekend on a 19-game hitting streak. Classmate Kailee O'Brien (Altoona) follows with her .471 average, and freshman Olivia Brecht (Center Point) joins them above .400 at .407.
Freshman Sydney Illg (Grimes) has a team-best 20 RBIs. Senior Brenna Gray (Waterloo) leads the starting pitchers with five wins and 4.04 ERA. Sophomore Maddie Rog (Norridge, Ill.) has a team-best 27 strikeouts.

Roby-Miklus continues to extend her lead as the program leader in stolen bases and has 97 to date. O'Brien ranks third with 53 and is eighth in hits with 156.
Reicks is the all-time leader with 10 saves.
Single Season Record Watch
Reicks' five saves on the young season is ties her own mark at first on the single season leader list. Roby-Miklus ranks second in stolen bases (34) and O'Brien is tied for seventh (17).
