WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg softball team (26-10 overall) will compete in the American Rivers Conference Tournament this weekend. The Knights are the No. 3 seed and will face No. 6 seed Simpson (20-18) Friday at 4:30 p.m. in Pella. Central will serve as host.

The Series
The Storm owns the all-time series lead at 45-35, though the Knights have won four of the last five. The teams split the regular season twinbill in Indianola this year.

Senior Kailee O'Brien (Altoona) leads the team with her .420 average. Freshman Sydney Illg (Grimes) follows at .417 and senior Liz Roby-Miklus (Ankeny) rounds out the leading hitters at .402.
Roby-Miklus has a team-best 50 stolen bases and Illg has a team-high 40 RBIs. Freshman Olivia Brecht (Center Point) leads the team with 13 doubles.
Sophomore Maddie Rog (Norridge, Ill.) leads the starting pitchers with a 2.74 ERA and has a team-best 58 strikeouts.

Roby-Miklus continues to extend her lead as the program leader in stolen bases and has 114 to date. She also ranks tied for fourth in runs (114), and ninth in hits (147). O'Brien ranks third in stolen bases with 56, and is fourth in hits with 174.
Reicks is the all-time leader with 10 saves.
Single Season Record Watch
Reicks' five saves ties her own mark at first on the single season leader list. Roby-Miklus set the record in stolen bases (50), while Illg is fourth (25) and O'Brien is tied for fifth (20).
Brecht is tied for fifth in doubles (13) and Illg is tied for 10th in RBIs (38).
