CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The American Rivers Conference announced its weekly performers of the week Monday, Sept. 30, with Katie Foster earning Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week and Owen Grover selected as the Football Defensive Player of the Week. 

Katie Foster is named A-R-C defensive player of the week for a fourth week in a row after tallying 91 digs for the Knights in three matches last week, averaging 7.58 digs per set. Wartburg went 3-0 on the week with wins over Dubuque, Augustana, and Saint Mary's.

Freshman linebacker Owen Grover of Dyersville led the Wartburg defense during the 42-25 win over Dubuque, notching a season-high 10 tackles along with one tackle for loss en route to garnering his first career A-R-C weekly honor.
