Men's Basketball on the road to Coe Saturday

WAVERLY, Iowa - The Wartburg men's basketball team is on the road to Cedar Rapids to face American Rivers Conference Rival Coe College on Saturday, Jan. 18. Tipoff is at 4 p.m.

Matchup Notes
  • The Knights won the second matchup of last season with a 69-54 win over the Kohawks
  • Coe had an 80-78 win over Wartburg in the first game of the 2018-19 season 
  • Wartburg hosted the Kohawks in the 2012-13 IIAC quarterfinal game where the Knights advanced to the semifinals after a 64-54 win

Last Time Out
Wartburg won its third straight conference game after defeating Luther College 80-71 in Levick on Wednesday. Kuhlemeier scored a career-high 18 points with nine other Knights scoring and 43 points coming off the bench. The Orange and Black were 30-of-66 in field goal shooting and were 14-21 from the free throw line. The team tallied a total 45 rebounds with three blocks and three steals.
