WAVERLY, Iowa - Wartburg women's tennis squeaked out a narrow 5-4 victory over Central College on Saturday in Waverly to remain undefeated. The Knights also extended their winning streak against the Dutch to four-straight games. 

After taking an early 2-1 advantage in doubles, Wartburg (8-0, 5-0 A-R-C) saw its lead vanish after the first four matches in the singles competition. However, sophomore Alyssa Guse recorded her team-high sixth victory at the No. 5 spot and junior Ambriel Jacobs took home the deciding tally during the No. 6 singles competition to remain unbeaten. The duo of Olivia Phillips and Sydney Rottinghaus continued their dominant performance in doubles play when they earned their team-best fifth win of the campaign.
