WAVERLY, Iowa - Wartburg women's tennis will continue its conference schedule with a pair of matches against Luther College on the road on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 12 p.m. and then will travel back home on Monday, Oct. 12 to take on Buena Vista University at 4 p.m. The Knights (8-0, 5-0 A-R-C) will look to snap a two-game losing skid against Luther and then improve their winning streak against BVU to 20-straight contests, as they have not lost to the Beavers (0-5, 0-4 A-R-C) since 2002.
The match against Luther (6-0, 6-0 A-R-C) will be a battle for first place in the American Rivers Conference as both teams enter the contest with undefeated records. The Knights and Norse have split the past two conference championships as Luther won last season and Wartburg took home the title two years ago.Â
Sophomore
Alyssa Guse ranks second in the A-R-C for most wins in singles play with a 6-0 record while freshman
Bailey VanDusseldorp is not far behind with a perfect 5-0 tally. Guse,

Olivia Phillips and Rottinghaus leads the conference at the No. 2 doubles spot with a perfect 3-0 ledger while the pair of
Madison Overmann and Powers ranks first in the A-R-C at the No. 3 doubles position with a 3-0 record.Â
The Knights will conclude their Fall regular season with a makeup match against Loras College that is still to be determined before heading to the conference individual tournament.Â
