Wartburg College Track & Field is hosting hands-on clinics to athletes featuring drills and technique instruction in throws, jumps, hurdles, and sprints throughout December 2020 through February of 2021.
To maintain a safe environment for all of our clinic participants we are
limiting each session to 20 athletes and are asking that only 1 parent or coach accompany each athlete. We are also
only taking registrations online this year and will not be allowing registrations at the door, so please register early. Details about our clinics can be found at

This year we have five dates available for your athletes:

COVID 19: Current Wartburg policies do require wearing of masks indoors, which does apply to our facility and this event.

Our Clinic Staff:
Marcus Newsom-Director of Track & Field and Cross Country-is the six-time United States Track Coaches Association Division III indoor women's Coach of the Year and three-time USTFCCCA Division III outdoor women's COTY, has led Wartburg track to 269 indoor and 308 outdoor Division III All-American performances since 1999. Thirty-six individual events have earned national championship honors since he took over the program to go along with eight Team National Championships.
Seth Roberson-Assistant Track & Field Coach: Throws- enters his second year back with the program. In 16 years of coaching throws at the collegiate level Roberson has mentored six National Champions and 41 All-American throwers. He was named the 2018 USTFCCCA Regional Assistant Coach of the Year and has earned four Conference Assistant Coach of the Year honors. Roberson is a 2002 Graduate of Wartburg and was a member of the coaching staff at Wartburg in 2005.
Nick Kohl-Assistant Track & Field Coach: Jumps- enters his sixth season at Wartburg. Kohl has 19 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level working with nine national champions and 36 All-Americans. As a coach he has also been a member of four team Nationals Championships.
Cancellation policy:
We do not offer refunds for no shows. In the event of cancellation due to inclement weather or circumstances beyond our control, we will make every effort to move your registration to a different date or refund you registration fee. If you must cancel, please do so at least 1 week prior to date of clinic so we have the opportunity to allow others into the clinic. Cancellations less than 1 week prior to clinic will not be refunded. Unfortunately processing fees for registration cannot be refunded.
