Women's Tennis Continues Conference Play

WAVERLY, Iowa - Wartburg women's tennis will continue its American Rivers Conference season at home this Saturday, Sept. 19 at 4:30 p.m. against Nebraska Wesleyan University. The Knights are coming off a 7-2 mid-week victory over Coe College and approach the match with a perfect 4-0 record. 

Spectators are permitted and are required to follow campus masking and social distancing guidelines. Details HERE

Multiple Knights come into the contest undefeated as the team has compiled an 18-3 record in singles play and a 7-3 ledger in doubles competition. Seniors Sydney Rottinghaus and Sydney Powers have kicked off their final campaign in a positive way, earning a 3-0 start in singles while freshman Bailey VanDusseldorp has reached the same plateau to begin her collegiate career. Sophomore Alyssa Guse has bolstered Wartburg's attack in doubles competitions, logging a 3-0 record. 

The Knights are set to begin their third conference match on Saturday against Nebraska Wesleyan before taking on Simpson College on Friday, Sept. 25 in Waverly.
