WAVERLY, Iowa - The Wartburg women's tennis team will continue its American Rivers Conference schedule on Friday, Sept. 25 at 3:30 p.m. when they host the Simpson College Storm.
Spectators are permitted and are required to follow campus masking and social distancing guidelines. Details HERE.
Both programs come into the match undefeated and in a four-way tie for first place in the conference. Wartburg will be putting its 14-game win streak against Simpson on the line in the contest. The Knights last defeat against the Storm dates back to the 2008-09 season.
The Knights (5-0, 3-0 A-R-C) have won five or more matches to begin the season for the second time in the past three years as they compiled an 11-game win streak to open the 2018-19 campaign. The Orange and Black enter the match with a 23-4 ledger in singles play and are led by freshman

Sydney Powers who post a team-high 4-0 record. Doubles play has been strong for Wartburg as it has earned a 10-3 record with sophomore

The Knights will compete against the Storm (1-0, 1-0 A-R-C) on Friday at 3:30 p.m. before heading on the road to take on the Duhawks of Loras College on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
