Last Time Out
The Knights were last in action on Saturday, Oct. 9 in Pella, Iowa where they won 5-4 over Central College in an American Rivers Conference matchup.
The team of
Meadow LaDuke and
Natalie Kaiser won in the number one doubles position for the Knights only doubles win. Kaiser and LaDuke also picked up singles wins at the number one and two position respectively.
Georgia Nissen won in the No. 5 singles spot in straight sets to put her at a 4-0 record overall in the fifth position.
Gabby Flynn also won in singles play, at the No. 6 position, to help lift the Knights past the Dutch.
Luther College
Luther enters Tuesday's contest with an undefeated A-R-C record and winners of six of its last seven. The Norse defeated Saint Ambrose 4-3 in their last match on Saturday, Oct. 9. The Norse also faced Simpson College prior to the Saint Ambrose match and won 7-2. The last conference competition Renata Martinez is 10-0 in singles play this season for Luther, including 6-0 in the No. 5 position.
Luther has owned the all-time series between the schools with a 50-1 advantage. Wartburg's win came in the 2018 season on the road in Decorah, Iowa for a 5-4 win.
