CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa—Katie Foster earned her fifth Defensive Player of the Week honor from the American Rivers Conference after helping lead the No. 5 Knights Volleyball squad to a 2-0 week.

Foster recorded 61 digs over two matches, including a 32 dig performance in Wartburg's five-set victory over Coe.

Foster recorded a pair of service aces over the week and had no ball handling errors.

Foster was previously named Defensive Player of the Week four times this season (Sept. 7, Sept. 13, Sept. 20, Sept. 27).

The No. 5 Knights close out the 2021 regular season with a three-game home stand. The Knights welcome Simpson to Levick Arena on Oct. 22 for a 5:30 p.m. first serve.
