Indianola, Iowa – Wartburg women's tennis was defeated 6-3 by Simpson College in an American Rivers Conference match on Friday, Oct. 8.
The Knights were able to win two out of the three doubles matches with wins from the duo of
Georgia Nissen and
Ambriel Jacobs as well as the team of
Caroline Hutchinson and
Chihiro Ono.
Nissen and Jacobs got an 8-3 win in the No. 2 doubles position and Hutchinson and Ono got a tiebreaker win in the No. 3 spot. Nissen also picked up the Orange & Black's lone singles win in the number five position.
