LEXINGTON, KY—Following the completion of a perfect regular season, the Wartburg Knights Volleyball squad has risen to No. 4 in this week's AVCA rankings.
The Knights defeated then No. 20 (now No. 19) Bethel University (MN) on October 26 in four sets, 3-1. The Knights completed the first perfect season in school history and have reached 25 wins or more 11 times prior in school history.
The Knights are one of two unbeaten teams in the country, as No. 1 Johns Hopkins has a 27-0 record.
The weekend prior, the Knights claimed their seventh consecutive and tenth overall American Rivers Conference Championship. The Knights earn the top seed in the A-R-C tournament and will host the semifinal and final matches, Nov. 5-6 inside Levick Arena.
