SEASON OUTLOOK
Saturday's game will mark 469 days since the Knights' last competition, a 3-1 loss versus the University of Dubuque during the 2019 American Rivers Conference Championship.

Wartburg headed into 2020 coming off a fifth consecutive conference regular season championship, finishing the 2019 season with a 24-8 overall record and 8-0 A-R-C finish.

The American Rivers Conference announced in November of 2020 the shift from fall sports to the spring of 2021 due to COVID-19, including volleyball. All schedules were approved by the conference's Presidents Council after recommendations from coaches and directors of athletics from the nine conference schools. A full round-robin schedule is planned and there will not be a conference tournament.

Kylie Bildstein and Katie Foster will look to lead the Knights during their seasons. Both are returning All-Conference and AVCA All-Region award winners.

KNIGHTS TABBED SECOND IN PRESEASON POLL
The American Rivers Conference released the 2020 (2021) Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll on Friday, Feb. 19, with Wartburg selected to finish second in the league standings, as voted on by the A-R-C coaches. The Knights received 58 along with three first place votes.
