SEASON OUTLOOK
A year ago, the Knights got off to a solid start when they went 9-3 during their spring-break trip to Florida before the season came to an abrupt end due to COVID-19. Wartburg was ranked as high as No. 21 during the 2020 season, which marked the first time the Orange & Black cracked the national top 25 rankings since 2009.

During the shortened year, senior Leah Campos paced the Knights with a batting average of .486 in 35 at-bats. Fellow senior Kaci Sherwood led the team in RBIs with 15 while junior Jenna Levine also reached double figures with 10.

On the mound, junior Madison Hiestand tallied a 3-0 record with an ERA of .95 and earned 13 strikeouts in 22 innings pitched. Senior Maddie Rog struck out a team-best 29 batters and posted a 4-2 ledger for Wartburg.
