WAVERLY, Iowa - The Wartburg College volleyball team continues its American Rivers Conference schedule with a pair of home matches this week, hosting the University of Dubuque on Tuesday, March 2, and Buena Vista University Friday, March 5. 
The Knights and Spartans will meet tomorrow evening at 8 p.m. inside Levick Arena for a rematch of the 2018 and 2019 A-R-C Tournament Championships, in which Dubuque prevailed 3-1 in both contests. Dubuque and Wartburg were picked first and second, respectively, in the 2020(21) A-R-C Preseason Coaches' Poll.
Wartburg will continue its homestand this Friday versus Buena Vista at 7 p.m.

WARTBURG ATTENDANCE POLICY
Two people per each participant (student-athlete/coach/staff member) will be permitted to attend volleyball home events inside Levick Arena. Seating for spectators will take place in the west bleachers across from the team benches.

LAST TIME OUT
Last week the Knights opened conference action by sweeping Coe College and Central College. 
During the home opener versus the Kohawks, Wartburg overmatched Coe, limiting them to a .051 attacking percentage and forcing 24 Kohawk errors. The Knights won 25-15, 25-12, 25-17 while tallying 41 kills with a .404 attack percentage. 
On Friday at Central, Wartburg held the Dutch to a -.037 hitting percentage and forced 31 errors. The Knights won 25-20, 25-10, 25-16 and posted 38 kills with a .224 attack percentage.
Against Coe and Central, Wartburg junior outside hitter 
Kennedy Meister helped compiled 19 kills, averaging 3.17 per set with a .455 attack percentage. Additionally, she added eight blocks, averaging 1.33 per set.
