WAVERLY, Iowa - Wartburg women's tennis will continue its nonconference schedule when they travel to Winona, Minn. for a matchup against St. Mary's University on Saturday, March 13 at 12:30 p.m. The contest will mark the first ever meeting between the two programs.Â
The Orange & Black (11-2, 7-1 A-R-C) split last weekend's matches when they fell to Morningside College 3-4 and came away victorious against Hamline University by a score of 6-3.  Sophomore
Olivia Phillips headlined the weekend when she finished 2-0 at the No. 2 singles position and at the No. 1 doubles spot. Junior
Madison Overmann also performed well when she tallied a 2-0 record in No. 1 doubles and a 1-1 ledger in No. 1 singles play.

Sydney Powers have both been a force in doubles as they have tallied a team-high 9-3 ledger. As a team, the Knights are 51-24 in singles play and 28-9 in doubles.Â
St. Mary's did not compete in the fall season and have posted a 2-1 record this spring with wins over Loras College and Minnesota State University - Mankato. The Cardinals are led by senior Colleen Lois at the No. 1 spot as she has tallied a 2-1 record. Sophomore Zoie Becker has recorded a team-high 3-0 ledger in singles. Freshman Emily Henderson paces the program in doubles with a record of 2-0.Â
