INDIANOLA, Iowa – The No. 23-ranked Wartburg College volleyball team returned to action on Saturday, March 20, sweeping Simpson College 3-0 on the road.

The Knights improve to 4-2 overall and 4-1 during American Rivers Conference action, making quick work against the Storm in three sets; 25-14, 25-13, 25-13.

Wartburg totaled 35 kills with a .333 attacking percentage while forcing 22 Simpson errors and limiting the home team to a 0.02 attack percentage.

Upperclassmen
Zaiah Quirk and
Kylie Bildstein led the attack with 12 and 11 kills, respectively. The pair each attacked efficiently, with Bildstein hitting at a rate of 0.524 with no errors.

Setter
Claire Marsh led the Knights with 26 assists and
Katie Foster with 15 digs. As a whole, Wartburg tallied nine aces, four blocks and 45 digs.
The Knights will have a quick turnaround as they face off against Luther College (0-6, 0-6 A-R-C) on Monday, March 22 in Decorah, Iowa at 7:30 p.m.Â
