RIVER FOREST, Ill. - Wartburg lacrosse was upended by Concordia University of Chicago on Sunday, March 21 by a score of 19-7 at Concordia Stadium in River Forest, Ill.
The Knights (0-4, 0-0 MWL) will return home on Saturday, March 27 for their conference opener against Loras College (2-2, 0-0 MWL) at 12:00 p.m. at the Wartburg Lacrosse Field.

The Oakdale, Minn. native Greiskalns recorded the opening goal of the half and second of the contest to cut into the deficit. The Knights started to gain momentum midway through the period when they tallied three-straight goals courtesy of freshman
Jordan Lorenzen and two from Langford to secure her hat trick. However, Wartburg battled to a 4-4 tie in the second half and lost the contest 19-7.
Wartburg tallied seven goals on 16 shots. The Knights scooped up 17 ground balls, won 15 draw controls and converted on 85.7% of their clear attempts, which was a season-high. Freshman
Brittney Shipman made her career debut in net for the Knights and totaled five saves.
