WAVERLY, Iowa - The No. 19-ranked Wartburg College softball team continues its American Rivers Conference schedule this weekend, hosting Simpson College March 27-28 at Lynes Field.
The Knights and Storm kick off the series with a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 27. Wartburg and Simpson will then conclude the series with a Sunday matinee at 1 p.m.
Spectators are permitted to attend Wartburg outdoor athletic events and are required to follow campus masking and social distancing guidelines. Fans must all wear face masks outdoors when we cannot absolutely guarantee a physical distance of at least six feet from others. Details HERE.

Wartburg opened A-R-C action last weekend, March 20-21, at home. The Knights won one of three versus the University of Dubuque with all three games resulting in one-run differences.

Kaylie Springer each tallied five hits through three games, while Illg led the Knights with two homers and eight runs batted in.
Kaci Sherwood added four runs batted and
Lauren Frerichs totaled three doubles.

Ashley Nelson pitched six innings and earned the win during game two last Saturday.
