ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Wartburg College women's lacrosse team had its 2021 season end with an 18-3 setback at Hamline University Wednesday afternoon at Klas Field.
The Knights finished the year with a 2-9 overall record and 2-4 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference mark, just missing the league playoffs.

Ellie Johnson, and
Bri Greiskalns scored the trio of Wartburg goals.Â
Greiskalns finished the season with 40 goals and 54 points, the MWLC season-leading scorer. She has tallied at least 40 goals now in three seasons in Orange & Black.Â
The Pipers outscored the Knights 10-1 in the first period and 8-2 in the second. Wartburg was successful on 8-of-10 clear attempts and held a 14-8 draw control advantage.Â
Brittney Shipman made four saves in goal.
