The Knights extended their lead when freshman
Rachel Gavin registered her second goal of the season in the 80th minute. Wartburg stayed focus in the final moments of the game and recorded its third straight shutout. Gavin paced Wartburg with five shots while junior goalkeeper
Marissa Lopez was credited with her third win behind one save.

Simpson College
The Storm come into the match following a 4-2 victory over Central College on Wednesday, April 7. Simpson has also defeated Buena Vista and tied Dubuque in double overtime during conference play. Simpson has scored 11 goals in three games and has recorded an average of 27.7 shots and a shot on goal percentage of 56.6%.
Junior forward Megan Roberts has recorded a team-high four goals, two assists and 10 points this season. Freshman netminder Brenny Frederick has appeared in all of the matches this season and has allowed two goals with a save percentage of 71.4%.
