WAVERLY, Iowa - The No. 24-ranked Wartburg College softball team is set to head into postseason play hosting a pod of the 2021 American Rivers Conference Tournament May 13-14 and possibly through the weekend.

Spectators are permitted to attend Wartburg outdoor athletic events and are required to follow campus masking and social distancing guidelines. Fans must all wear face masks outdoors when we cannot absolutely guarantee a physical distance of at least six feet from others. Details HERE. 

The Knights (26-8, 17-7 A-R-C) wrapped up their regular season with a loss to Coe College May 8 in Waverly as the Kohawks secured the No. 1 seed for the conference tournament and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Wartburg earned the No. 2 seed and along with Coe will be one of two pods for the postseason playoffs May 13-16.

On May 13-14, Wartburg will host No. 3 Central, No. 6 Nebraska Wesleyan, and No. 7 Dubuque while top-seeded Coe will host No. 4 Luther, No. 5 Simpson, No. 8 Buena Vista, and No. 9 Loras.

A best of three Championship series will then be played May 15-16 at the pod site of the highest remaining seed or at the No.1 seed if the top two seeds are eliminated.
