Whitewater, Wis. – Wartburg women's tennis wrapped up ITA Tournament and Midwest Open play Saturday, Sept. 25.
In the ITA Singles Tournament,
Meadow LaDuke was Wartburg's lone representative. LaDuke won her first-round match but fell in the second round.
The Midwest Open had eight flights of singles play and two flight of doubles.
Natalie Kaiser was in the singles B flight and won two matches finishing in the top four of her flight after a loss in the semifinals.
Ambriel Jacobs,
Georgia Nissen and
Gabby Flynn were defeated in the quarterfinals of their respective singles flights after picking up round one wins (Flights E, F, H).
In doubles play, the team of
Bailey Sinnwell and
Chihiro Ono finished in the top four after being defeated in the semifinals of the A flight.
Kaiser and LaDuke teamed up in the C flight and were defeated in the quarterfinals after winning one match and the team of Jacobs and Nissen competed in flight D and were also defeated in the quarterfinals.
