CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa—For the third time this season, Katie Foster and Kylie Bildstein swept the American Rivers Conference volleyball weekly accolades.

Bildstein was named Female Athlete of the Week in addition to being named Offensive Player of the Week.

Bildstein, who earns her sixth career and third honor this season, helped lead the No. 10 Wartburg Knights to a 5-0 week. Bildstein tallied 58 kills over the five-game span, hitting .467 percent. Bildstein recorded three games with a hitting percentage of .526 or higher. Bildstein tallied 8 solo and 10 assisted blocks, moving her average to 1.12 blocks per set.

Foster earned her fourth consecutive and twentieth Defensive Player of the Week nod as the Knights improved their record to 17-0, going 5-0 in competition last week. The senior libero tallied 92 digs over five matches, with 21 digs over Gustavus and 29 against Augustana. In the Knights conference win over Dubuque, Foster was credited for 17 digs. Foster tallied six service aces, with three against Augsburg and two in the win over Carleton.

Bildstein and Foster were each named to the Wartburg Invitational All-Tournament team. The Knights swept three opponents (Augsburg, Augustana, Carleton) with only two games going to four sets (Dubuque, Gustavus).

Next Match

The Knights open A-R-C action at home on Sept. 29 as Luther visits Levick Arena. First serve is slated for 7:30 p.m. inside Levick.
