CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa—Nate Link earned his first football Defensive Player of the Week nod from the American Rivers Conference

In the Wartburg Knights conference opener, the sophomore linebacker led the team with 11 total tackles, including eight solo stops. Link added nine tackles for a loss, including a sack for a loss of eight yards. In the Knights final score of the game, Link recorded a pick-six with just under six minutes remaining in the game.

The Knights posted a 28-7 victory over Coe in Waverly on Sept. 25. 

Next Time in Action

The Knights travel to #13 Central College on Oct. 2. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. in Pella, Iowa.
