Knights Volleyball Hits the Road

WAVERLY, Iowa—Following a 4-0 start at home, the Wartburg College Knights Volleyball squad hits the road for a match at Grinnell on Sept. 7. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. in the Darby Gymnasium on Grinnell's campus.

Scouting Grinnell

The Pioneers of Grinnell enter the match with a 4-2 record, going 3-2 at the Central/Grinnell tournament. Kaylin Kuhn moved the 14th on the Pioneers All-Time Career digs list.

Entering the match, the Knights hold a 19-1 record over the Pioneers. The last meeting saw the Knights post a 3-1 victory in 2019.

Last Time Out

Hosting the SMU Sugarloaf Classic, the Knights opened the 2021 fall campaign with four straight wins. The opening match of the classic saw the Knights defeat Gustavus Adolphus in a five-set match. The Knights defeated UW-River Falls, Carleton, and Saint Mary's University in straight sets.

The 4-0 start to the season has happened seven times prior in program history.
