CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa—Ben Bryant was named Special Teams Player of the Week as announced by the American Rivers Conference.

Bryant was a vital part of regaining ground for the Knights on special teams and punt returns as they cruised to a 44-3 victory over Monmouth College.

The Western Dubuque prep returned five punts for a total of 98 yards, with a long of 39 yards. Additionally, he returned one kickoff for 21 yards.

This is Bryant's first-career Special Teams Player of the Week award.

Bryant and the Knights return to action as they travel to Gustavus Adolphus on Sept. 11.
