WAVERLY, Iowa -- The No. 21/22 Wartburg football team (5-0 overall, 3-0 A-R-C) defeated Loras 42-3 Saturday.
 
Top performers

• Nile McLaughlin threw for a career-high 307 yards, on a career-best 27 completions and three TDs.
• His top target was Drake George who had five catches for 58 yards and one TD.
• Hunter Clasen rushed for 90 yards and one TD.
• Antonio Santillan led the defense with 10 total tackles
• Owen Grover had a team-best 2.0 TFLs.

Notes/streaks

• Wartburg's defense has not allowed a touchdown on a Saturday this season. 
• The defense has also not allowed a touchdown in the last four-straight games.
• The Duhawks were in the redzone three times, and only scored on a field goal.
• This was the 15^th-straight win at home.

The Knights take to the road next week to face No. 23/24 Central Saturday at 1 p.m. This will be the sixth time in the last eight meetings the matchup will be in Pella, Iowa.
