Men's Soccer Draw 1-1 Against Simpson

WAVERLY, Iowa – Wartburg men's soccer (5-1-4, 1-0-1) battled American Rivers Conference foe Simpson College (7-2-1) to a 1-1 draw at home on Saturday, Oct. 1.
 
Scoring Summary
  • The Knights struck first with a beautifully placed free kick by Payton Chapman that was headed in by Michael Dunn in the 18th minute
  • Simpson responded with the equalizer in the 23rd minute after a deep goal from Mateaus Lewis
    • Lewis was red carded following the play
